In the event of a theft, Google allows us to locate our device, although we must be fast, and in case we can not locate it, we can at least delete our data so that it is not seen by anyone.

In case your Android device is stolen you can find it with another connected device and by accessing Find My Device, this link is associated with your Google Account. If your Android is linked to that same account and is connected to the internet (mobile data), it will appear on the map. You can show your position in real time or the last point at which you had an internet connection. It is necessary to have the location on the device to search active.

If you manage to find your android, you can do three things from that page: With the first one you can find your lost phone or if you are very close to it. Your phone will play a sound at full volume for 5 minutes even if it is silent or vibrating.

The second option is to lock the smartphone with PIN, pattern or password. The lock option can be created at that time, remotely.

The third option allows you to erase the information that contains your device, if you contain very important data and information that you know they can use against you, the best option is to erase all traces of it on your phone.
