Telegram released its new update that features a new theme editor and specific support for podcasts and audiobooks.
The new theme editor, located in the ‘Chat Settings’ section, makes it easy to modify the style of chat elements and messages or background.
The update includes dozens of new patterns for the chat background, although the user will also be able to create their own and share it for others to use.
Telegram ensured that with its app, files up to 1.5 GB have always been able to be shared, but with the new update, podcasts and audiobooks have specific support.
In addition, the app will remember where the user stayed and when they want to continue listening, it will resume from that same point.
Another new feature is that it allows you to schedule messages to be sent when the recipient connects to the app. However, this option is only available if the recipient has enabled that their line status can be viewed.
Telegram also improved the search for places and now users will be able to indicate a destination directly on the map instead of having to select from a list of places.
As for the search option within messages, the new update has a feature that allows you to view a list of messages that contain the searched keyword, as well as messages sent by a particular person or from a given day.
Telegram also improved some aspects for Android users. Among other things it is now possible to enter night mode more quickly, to send videos you can choose their quality more intuitively, and when the user stops hearing a voice message now you can disable the auto reply function.
iOS users will be able to change the font size throughout the app. They can also choose which browser they prefer to open links, as well as switch bills faster.
